What is the Greater Hartford Holiday Gift Guide?
Consider it a love letter to all the amazing small businesses making it happen in Central Connecticut. Now in its 5th year - the guide is an online curation of unique local gifts, services, and experiences that will delight those that receive them, benefit our local economy, and warm everyone’s heart in the process.
We launched in 2017 with the goal of encouraging holiday shoppers to #shopsmall while extending the visibility of small businesses during the holiday season.
And in 2018, we joined forces with West Hartford Magazine and We-Ha.com to make an even greater impact and help even more gifters #shopsmall at the We-Ha Holiday Pop-Up!
In 2019, we partnered with our sister business, West Hartford Coworking, to bring you the ultimate holiday shopping experience. Two days and more than a dozen vendors packed the space to offer their wares to area shoppers.
In 2020…. things got a little crazy. Knowing that our small businesses needed our love more than ever, we launched our 4th Annual Guide featuring so many wonderful new and veteran businesses - some of which were launched during the height of the pandemic!
To celebrate our 5th year, we partnered with Curated CT to spread the local love even further with a Shop Small, Shop Local, and SHOP EARLY campaign meant to drive awareness around shipping and logistics delays impacting small businesses.
For our 6th year, we did things a little differently by tapping into our growing network of incredible small business owners, influencers, and champions to help us curate THEIR favorite local goods and services to add to your holiday shopping list.
